Youth (Grades 7-12)
The hope for all of our youth activities at FPC is to create a welcoming and affirming space in which students can learn more about God, deepen their personal relationships with Christ, and have room to ask questions about faith, doubt, life, and virtually anything else while also having fun with old and new friends. Our youth ministry is a place for anyone and everyone 7th-12th grade. Contact Associate Pastor John Kupar with any questions.
Sunday School & Lunch (August - May)
11:15 a.m. – Youth Room (241) in the Education Building
Youth Sunday School is an opportunity to discuss questions that arise within our journey of faith. Each month we focus on a topic where these questions can come forth such as the Bible, science, or presbyterianism. As a community of Christians, we believe that the best fellowship involves breaking bread together, therefore we eat lunch together every week.
Urban Plunge will return in Summer 2021!
Urban Plunge is an opportunity for youth to be the hands and feet of Christ right within their own backyard. This week-long experience enables all youth (grades 6-12) to learn about injustices and ministry opportunities here in the greater Pensacola area. Youth will stay at the church for the entirety of the week. For more information contact Associate Pastor John Kupar.
Please call the office (438-9619) if you have any questions.
Wednesday Youth Group
(September - May)
5:30 p.m. – Dinner – Noonan Center
6:15 p.m. – Youth Group – Youth Room (241) in the Education Building
Wednesdays during the school year, the youth meet in the Youth Room (241). During these meetings, we focus on one of four things: discipleship, fellowship, ministry, or worship. These nights are often more high energy than Sunday’s gatherings.
Montreat Youth Conference
Upcoming Montreat Trip: July 19-25, 2020
Each summer, rising 9th graders through graduated seniors are invited to our annual trip to North Carolina and the Montreat Youth Conference. Friends of FPC members are welcome as well! This week-long conference is a unique gathering of young people from all over the country for a week of study, worship, and recreation. The conference features inspiring music, enlightening speakers, and an enormous amount of fellowship that combine to form a unique spiritual experience.
Registration for Montreat 2020 has closed. If you are still interested in joining the group contact Associate Pastor John Kupar.
